In order to become physically fit, we do strength training to build muscles and decrease behaviors that keep us from reaching our fitness goals; like consuming excess sugar for example. The same holds true when our goal is to be more mindful or mentally fit. We want to build those positive neural connections and decrease the unwanted behaviors of negative thinking or destructive mindsets. So how do we strengthen our “brain muscles” and what do these exercises really look like? Spend some time with Ellen Bartkowiak to learn how to decrease the unwanted behavior of thinking negatively and take some time for yourself to learn simple exercises to keep you in an upward spiral.
